The company Serendib International (Pvt) Ltd, was incorporated in 1992 and the core business now is the import and distribution of automotive and industrial filters to the Sri Lanka market.

A local agent imported and distributed the VIC brand of auto motive filters from Union Motors, Japan since 1980. In 2002, when the local agent rationalised and opted out of their auto motive spare parts business, we moved in to take over their VIC brand import and distribution rights with their trained sales and office staff.

We have made considerable progress in the 10 years that passed and our core business today is the Import and Distribution of auto motive filters – Oil, Fuel and Air.

Key to our expansion and growth to date are,

• VIC brand oil, fuel and air filters from JAPAN now being the leading after market brand in SRILANKA.
• Addition and consolidation of SAKURA oil, fuel and air filter range from INDONESIA.
• Addition and consolidation of INTER PART oil and air filter range from KOREA,
• Addition and consolidation of SURE filter range from INODNESIA for heavy vehicles and industrial use.
• Our trained staff and our investments to train them further in Japan, Indonesia and Korea.
• Expansion of the dealer and distribution net work to cover the entire island now exceeding 600 dealers.
